Shanghai golf events cancelled due to pandemic

Two international golf tournaments in Shanghai have been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The WGC-HSBC Champions tournament, part of the World Golf Championships (WGC) series events on the PGA Tour, has been cancelled for the third consecutive year while China continues to grapple with the pandemic. The tournament was due to take place at the Sheshan International Golf Club from October 27 to 30.
