Spanish LaLiga football club Sevilla FC has extended its relationship with kit supplier Nike. The current contract, which ends in 2021, will now extend for the 2021-22 season.
Sevilla aims to strengthen its association with Nike as a key strategic partner to drive the club’s international expansion.
As a result of its existing relationship with Nike and the “recovery of control of global distribution”, Sevilla said it has activated local, national and international campaigns in key markets in recent seasons.
This has seen the club beat its billings records with a growth of 51 per cent and 81 per cent, compared to the 2017-18 and 2016-17 seasons, respectively.
The club added: “These numbers are just the beginning of the ambitious projects that Sevilla FC has designed in the hands of Nike, an unbeatable partner to continue improving and consolidating itself as a top sports entity.”
Nike first reached an agreement to supply Sevilla with kit for three seasons, from 2018-19 to 2020-21, in May 2018.
