A group of business and motorsport executives, including English entrepreneur Sir Keith Mills, are said to be working on the resurrection of A1GP, a motor-racing series contested by national teams that folded over a decade ago.

The group are currently seeking to raise $100m (€92.5m) in investment, according to Sky News, in an effort to relaunch A1GP by the end of next year under the banner of the ‘World Cup of Motorsport’.
