Seattle Seahawks are latest NFL team to drop concessions prices

Continuing a trend of US sports teams dropping concession prices, the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks announced new value items and pricing ahead of this weekend’s home opener against the Dallas Cowboys.

The new pricing scheme includes $3 hot dogs, fries, baked pretzels, nachos, candy, water and soda, and $5 domestic beer.

The Seahawks join the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions, as well as the NBA Atlanta Hawks, in lowering concessions prices to appeal to their fanbases.

“We’re thrilled to offer additional value-priced food and beverage options,” said David Young, senior vice-president of operations and GM, CenturyLink Field.

“We are continually listening to fan feedback and looking for new ways to enhance their overall gameday experience, so we are proud to offer these budget-friendly options both pregame and inside the stadium.”
