SBS picks up 2022 World Cup qualifier rights

Australian public-service broadcaster SBS has acquired free-to-air rights to two of the men’s national football team’s qualifying games for the 2022 Fifa World Cup.

Australia kicked off its Group B qualifying campaign with a 3-0 win in Kuwait on September 10 and faces Nepal at home next on October 10. On October 15, Australia will play its third World Cup and AFC Asian Cup qualifier when it takes on Chinese Taipei at National Stadium Kaohsiung.
