The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is set to remain in Jeddah for four more seasons while a new circuit is constructed in Qiddiya, the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation has said.

It was thought the Formula 1 race would soon transfer to a newly-built circuit in the city of Qiddiya, a huge multi-purpose project being developed around 45 kilometres from the capital Riyadh. However, SAMF chief executive Martin Whittaker says the race will likely remain in Jeddah until 2025.
