Organisers of the Diamond League track and field series have banned Russian and Belarusian athletes from its events “for the foreseeable future” following the invasion of Ukraine.
Russian athletes were already competing under Authorised Neutral Athletes (ANA) status due to the country’s doping violations, with the World Anti-Doping Agency’s sanctions preventing them from competing under the Russian flag.
