Russia and China planning bid for World Women’s Handball Championship

The Russian Handball Federation (HFR) and Chinese Handball Association are considering a joint bid for the 2029 or 2031 Women’s World Championship, according to the former organisation’s president Sergey Shishkarev.

The announcement was made as China’s men’s and women’s national teams arrived in Russia for a training camp and to compete in a tournament proposed for the end of the month.
