Rugby Australia is growing frustrated with the talks for next season's Super Rugby Trans-Tasman tournament due to New Zealand’s strong bargaining position and the potential addition of two new franchises to the competition.

The Australia-New Zealand tournament looks set to run into fresh controversy, with the planned deadline of late June for a decision on the future of the competition looking likely to be missed, Stuff.co.nz reported.
