ROYAL CLICKS IN UMBRO DISTRIBUTION DEAL

The firm said they included Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.
In a statement to the Singapore Exchange, the firm said the venture, in which it has a 51 percent stake, would be granted distribution and licensing agreement by Umbro for five years from April 1, 2001, with an option for additional five years.
The firm said current consolidated turnover for Umbro in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Thailand totalled US$8.O million.
Royal shares were last traded at S$0.81.
