The US Open tennis tournament is to go ahead as planned pending formal government approval. The ATP and WTA are expected to approve a plan for the tournament, which is set for August 31 to September 13. It’s expected that fans and media will not be permitted at the event at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
