Pacific Northwest regional sports network Root Sports has secured an 11th-hour carriage deal with satellite TV provider DirecTV amid the onset of the Seattle Kraken’s inaugural National Hockey League season and the return of the National Basketball Association’s Portland Trail Blazers to the RSN.
