Roma draws line under stadium project, posts €74.8m net loss

Italian Serie A football club AS Roma has announced the end of its troubled project to develop a new stadium in Tor di Valle, but may yet consider that area of Rome for future plans.

The 55,000-seat Stadio della Roma project was the vision of Roma’s former owner, Jim Pallotta, and had been thought to be under threat following the club’s takeover by new American backers.
