Rodriguez invests in PFL $30m Series E funding round

Former Major League Baseball superstar Alex Rodriguez has invested in the Professional Fighters League as part of a $30m (€28m) Series E equity round to fund global expansion and launch its new PPV Super Fight Division.

The investment round was led by Waverley Capital, the media and digital focused venture capital firm co-led by Edgar Bronfman, Jr. and Daniel Leff.  As a result of the financing, both Rodriguez and Leff have joined the PFL board of directors.
