Rocket Mortgage, a subsidiary of Detroit-based mortgage company Quicken Loans, has become the official mortgage sponsor of the National Football League in a multi-year deal.
Digital mortgage product Rocket Mortgage has become Quicken Loans’ signature offering in recent years.
The partnership will kick off at Super Bowl LIV in Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on February 2 with the introduction of the Rocket Mortgage Super Bowl Squares Sweepstakes, which will have prize fund of over $1m, including two individual prizes of $500,000.
“We’re thrilled to bring Rocket Mortgage into the NFL family as our first ever Official Mortgage Sponsor,” said Renie Anderson, Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Vice President, NFL Partnerships. “The Rocket Mortgage Super Bowl Squares Sweepstakes is a unique way to kick off our partnership and should add to the excitement of the Super Bowl in a way that is authentic to our fans.”
Quicken Loans, America’s largest home mortgage lender, is run by billionaire Dan Gilbert, who owns the National Basketball Association’s Cleveland Cavaliers, who play at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
