RFU targets £30m government funding for 2025 women’s Rugby World Cup bid

The Rugby Football Union, the governing body for the sport in England, has announced that it intends to bid to host the 2025 women’s Rugby World Cup and is seeking up to £30m (€35m/$41.2m) in financial support from the government to support the proposal.
