Revamped European Tour sponsorship package commands higher rates in Velocity Global deal

Outsourcing firm Velocity Global’s official partner deal, announced earlier this month, suggests last year’s changes to the European Tour partnership programme are bearing fruit.

SportBusiness sources suggest the deal is worth about $4m (€3.6m) per season, an uplift of at least €600,000 on European Tour official partner agreements made before 2021, which typically sold for between €2.5m and €3m per season.
