Relegation put on ice for rugby’s Premiership

The Rugby Football Union (RFU) Council has cast a “strong majority vote” in favour of no relegation from the Premiership or the second-tier Championship for the 2020-21 season, with further talks over league reform meaning that a moratorium on promotion and relegation could be in place for three or four seasons.
