Red Sox owner Henry ‘exploring Nascar investment’

John Henry, the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool FC owner, is looking to buy a minority stake in Nascar, according to a Bloomberg report.

Nascar owners, the France family, have been seeking investment since May and it appears that Henry, who is a co-owner of Roush Fenway Racing, is interested.

The France family are looking to acquire International Speedway Corp – which owns and operates 12 tracks that host Nascar races – to help facilitate investment in the motor racing series.
