Red Bull Arena, the home of MLS team New York Red Bulls, will be given a series of enhancements aimed at significantly improving the fan experience.
These include new LED video boards in the North and South ends, which will contain wide-angle visibility to provide a better viewing experience. Work on these video boards will mean certain sections will be closed for a period of time, thus reducing the stadium capacity.
Red Bull Arena will also have mobile ticketing-only from this season, as well as a “predominantly cashless experience” in order to cut waiting times at concessions and merchandise stands. New transactional units will also be customer-facing.
“Our club’s ongoing commitment toward the loyal fans and partners continues to be our highest priority,” said Marc de Grandpre, the Red Bulls general manager. “We strive to create a convenient, safe and memorable experience for everyone who steps foot into Red Bull Arena.”
