Qatar Sports Investments, the state backed body chaired by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, has submitted a proposal to back a new global professional competition series for padel in the midst of a turf war between stakeholders in the emerging sport.
The new series would compete against the established World Padel Tour with QSI and Al-Khelaïfi having held talks with the new Professional Padel Association (PPA) and the International Padel Federation (FIP) over their plans.
