Qatar ‘wants to host Olympics in 2036’

Encouraging by its staging of the Fifa World Cup, officials in Qatar are aiming to host the Summer Olympics in 2036, according to media reports.

Reuters reported that "a source familiar with the Olympic bidding process" said Qatar was determined to bring the Games to Doha.
