PWHPA ‘ends collaboration discussions’ with PHF over potential unified league

The future of professional women's ice hockey in North America remains in limbo, with the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association reportedly ending all collaboration talks with the rival Premier Hockey Federation.

At the behest of National Hockey League commissioner Gary Bettman, the two sides met together with Bettman last month to discuss the possibility of joining forces to create a unified league.
