The New Rising consortium and mobile phone manufacturer Intex have today (Tuesday) secured the rights to the two new franchises that will replace the Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals from next year’s edition of Twenty20 cricket competition the Indian Premier League (IPL).
