Premiership Rugby opts to retain control, rejects £275m CVC bid

Premiership Rugby has declined CVC Capital Partners’ £275m (€309m/$358m) offer for a 51 per cent stake, with the league’s board unanimously deciding that selling a majority share was “not the preferred option” at a board meeting on Tuesday.
