Premier League stars feature in new phase of Asia-focused ‘Boot Out Piracy’ campaign

The English Premier League is employing videos featuring star players to bolster the second phase of its 2021-22 anti-piracy campaign in Southeast Asia.

Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk and Leicester City’s James Maddison are among the players featuring in the latest phase. The players feature in videos warning fans about risks of malicious malware, ransomware, data theft and fraud when they watch sport via pirate streams. The campaign also highlights the frequently poor viewing experience on such streams.
