The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that Sanjay Patel, managing director of The Hundred, will leave the governing body following the conclusion of this year’s competition.
Patel has led the creation and launch of the new competition, which has attracted attendances of more than one million over the first two years and generated over £100m (€115m/$123.9m) of revenue during this time. However, its long-term future is currently the subject of much debate.
