The Paris 2024 organising committee says it is not planning to revise its sponsorship targets downwards as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The city is still aiming to raise €1.1bn ($1.29bn) in sponsorship revenues (in rights fees and value in kind services) to help to underwrite around a third of the €3.8bn budget for the Games. Overall, Paris 2024 hopes private sector revenues, which include revenue streams like ticketing and merchandising as well as sponsorship, will contribute 97 per cent of the cost of the event.
