Paris 2024 announces ticketing plans and events schedule, amid Macron budget meeting

Paris 2024 has announced the first ticketing pricing plans for the Olympic and Paralympic Games and confirmed the events competition schedule, as French President Emmanuel Macron hosted a meeting designed to alleviate concerns over preparations for the two events.

Paris 2024’s budget contains a revenue target of €1.1bn ($1.12bn) from ticket sales, accounting for almost one-third of the total revenue of the Games, and the organising committee yesterday detailed an “affordable pricing structure that enables it to meet its budgetary objectives”.
