Paes defends actions as assets frozen in Olympic golf course probe

Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes has protested his innocence after a state court froze his assets amid an investigation by public prosecutors into whether he improperly waived an environmental fee for the company that built the golf course developed for the 2016 summer Olympic Games.
