Danish government-owned broadcaster TV2 and public-service broadcaster DR have agreed sub-licensing deals with media company Discovery for rights to the 2022 winter Olympics in Beijing and the 2024 summer Games in Paris.

TV2 and DR will share coverage of the two events after acquiring linear television and digital rights from Discovery, which holds a €1.3bn ($1.6bn) rights agreement across Europe (excluding Russia) from 2018 to 2024.
