New Zealand Rugby's long-awaited deal with US investment firm Silver Lake is set to go ahead after provincial rugby unions today (Thursday) voted in favour of it.
At a special general meeting, NZR's 26 provincial unions voted to accept the deal on offer from Silver Lake, that had been agreed in February between the union and New Zealand's rugby players association (NZRPA).
