New Zealand Cricket (NZC) is to release a range of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and a “next-generation mobile game” after striking a five-year licensing agreement with Indian online gaming unicorn Dream Sports.

The digital collectibles will be developed by Singapore-based company Rario, which received backing from Dream Capital, the venture capital arm of Dream Sports, as part of a $120m (€117.8m) funding round in April. The mobile game, meanwhile, will be created by the company’s in-house developer Dream Game Studios.
