NWSL hires Inner Circle Sports to lead expansion process, relocates head office to New York

The National Women's Soccer League has unveiled a series of significant strategic moves following a board of governors meeting in New York City, as new commissioner Jessica Berman continues to make an immediate mark on the league.

Most prominently, the NWSL has appointed New York-based sports, media, and entertainment investment firm Inner Circle Sports, who will lead the expansion process with an intent to grow to 14 teams in 2024.
