Nordic combined future in doubt as IOC approves Milano Cortina 2026 sports programme

The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has hit out at the International Olympic Committee’s “surprising and disappointing” decision to exclude women’s Nordic combined from the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, with the sport as a whole now facing a fight for its Olympic future.
