NHL puts pause on puck tracking due to performance concerns

The National Hockey League has announced that it is putting a pause on its much-anticipated puck tracking technology just six days into the 2020-21 season due to performance concerns.

Starting with games on January 19, the league will be using game pucks without the installed tracking technology.
