The National Football League (NFL)’s UK commercial director Ben Dunn has parted ways with the organisation ahead of this month’s league fixture at Wembley.
Dunn has moved to Australia where he is the commercial director of National Rugby League team Melbourne Storm. He only joined the NFL eight months ago, prior to which he was sponsorship activity head for the Telegraph Media Group.
The NFL reportedly does not have a replacement in line, however its international commercial director Marc Reeves has temporarily inherited Dunn’s responsibilities.
His exit comes at a time when the league is bolstering its UK efforts, including September 29 and October 27 fixtures at Wembley, marking the first time that two league games will be hosted internationally in a season. Last month, the NFL also signed a deal to sell UK digital advertising on its website with British media and marketing agency Sports Revolution and its digital subsidiary Snack Media.
