The NFL American football league has decided to retain Orlando as host of its Pro Bowl annual all-star event.
The Florida city has staged the 2017 and 2018 Pro Bowls and will also host next year’s event on January 27 after the league elected to activate a third-year option in its agreement with Orlando officials.
Camping World Stadium will again be the setting for the Pro Bowl, which includes a week-long festival with various other events such as the NFL Flag Championships and the USA Football National Conference, the annual congregation of youth and high school American football administrators and coaches in the country.
The Pro Bowl is traditionally staged a week before the Super Bowl, which next year will be hosted at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Atlanta Falcons.
The Pro Bowl has traditionally taken place in Honolulu, Hawaii, since its inception in 1980, with the exception of 2015 in Arizona, as well as the 2010, 2017 and 2018 events in Florida.
