The New Zealand men’s national team will play a friendly match against Peru in June ahead of its must-win Fifa World Cup play-off against Costa Rica later that month, New Zealand Football has announced.

The match will be played at RCDE Stadium, also known as Estadi Cornellà-El Prat, in the outskirts of Barcelona on June 6. The 40,000-seat venue opened in 2009 and is home of Spanish LaLiga club RCD Espanyol.
