New Zealand Rugby and Rugby Australia agree new Super Rugby format

New Zealand Rugby and Rugby Australia have agreed a new Super Rugby format, despite mounting frustrations between the two governing bodies.

Reports in the Sydney Morning Herald said that the competition will revert to a format similar to the one used before Covid-19 – featuring 12 teams all playing each other once – with the addition of three round-robin matches.
