NBA taps Google to assist with All-Star voting

For 2019, the NBA is changing how it handles All-Star voting. The league will be working with Google to ease access to voting. Fans can search “NBA Vote,” “NBA All-Star Vote,” or a player’s name within Google to vote.  Fans are permitted to fill out one 10-man ballot per day from with all votes cast on specific days (Jan 3,4,10, 11 and 21) counting double.

All-Star voting will begin for fans at 11 a.m. EST on Christmas Day and conclude at 11:59 p.m. EST on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, The starters for the 2019 All-Star Game will be announced on January 24. The reserves will be announced a week later.

The NBA All-Star game will be held in Charlotte on February 17.
