NBA appoints Ellis as new chief people officer

The National Basketball Association has named Sabrina Ellis as its new chief people officer, replacing Oris Stuart in the role.

Ellis, who is New York University's vice president and chief human resources officer, will officially begin her role on January 17. She will report to NBA president of administration Kyle Cavanaugh.
