Nashville Sports Authority to explore local interest in women’s pro sports team

The Metro Nashville Sports Authority is ramping up its efforts to potentially bring a women's professional sports franchise to the Tennessee city.

As reported by The Tennessean, a partnership has been formed with sports management consulting firm CAA Icon to gauge local interest for the specific types of women's pro sports team that might do well locally.
