City Football Group’s proposed takeover of NAC Breda has fallen through after the NOAD Foundation, which owns a ‘golden share’ in the Dutch Eerste Divisie club, blocked the deal.
It emerged last month that NAC Breda, which has played in the second tier of Dutch football since the 2019-20 season, was set to be taken over by CFG in a deal worth a reported €7m ($7.6m).
