MultiChoice, the pay-TV broadcaster operating in sub-Saharan Africa, has announced plans to significantly overhaul its streaming service, Showmax, through a new agreement with Comcast’s NBCUniversal (NBCU) and Sky subsidiaries.
The deal intends to bring leading content and technology to streaming customers across MultiChoice’s 50-market footprint.
