MTK Global chief Yalen departs amid Kinahan fall-out

Bob Yalen has resigned as chief executive of boxing agency MTK Global, citing personal reasons amid the “particularly intense” recent pressure surrounding the company and its ties to Irish promoter Daniel Kinahan.

Yalen’s announcement today (Tuesday) comes a little over a week after the US Government announced sanctions against several top members of the Kinahan organised crime group. Among those sanctioned was Daniel Kinahan, who co-founded MTK Global and has previously worked as an advisor to world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
