The Milwaukee Bucks are already close to achieving their goal of receiving 10,000 full season-ticket packages for the first season in Fiserv Forum, their new $524m (€445m) arena.
“We’re a couple hundred seats away” from 10,000, said Jamie Morningstar, the Bucks’ senior vice-president of ticket sales and service.
The lowest available tickets are $2,100 per seat, with the cheapest packages of $850 sold out already.
Fan visits have boosted ticket sales, says Morningstar. “Everyone who has come in has been impressed and wants to be a part of it,” she said.
Changes to parking, food and beverage operations and the noise level on concourses during concerts are already being planned following the first events at the multi-purpose arena.
