Local government bodies involved with organising the Milano Cortina 2026 winter Olympic and Paralympic Games have raised concerns with the Italian government over the funding plan for the event and have called for an urgent meeting with Prime Minister Mario Draghi.
In a letter to Draghi published in Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano, local government bodies said they are “worried” about the financial plan for the Games in four years’ time.
