Michael Jordan is in 'serious talks' to sell a majority stake in the National Basketball Association's Charlotte Hornets franchise to an ownership group led by the team's minority owner Gabe Plotkin and Atlanta Hawks minority owner Rick Schnall.

Jordan previously sold a minority stake to Plotkin and Daniel Sundheim in 2020. He's served as the franchise's majority owner for 13 years, paying $275m (€259m) for a majority stake in 2010.
