Melbourne Victory shareholders back 777 Partners takeover

The takeover of Melbourne Victory by US investment company 777 Partners has been backed by shareholders of the Australian A-League club.

777 Partners agreed a deal in October to acquire a stake in the club, which hailed the agreement as “one of the biggest investment deals into a single sports team in Australian history”.
